Elevator Pitch No.3

Mom-Mobile

Unfortunately, I was unable to record the second elevator pitch to get any feed back, but I did receive feedback on my first pitch. Overall, I got some good feedback. I did not receive any negative or silly feedback. I only had one suggestion and that was to, perhaps, incorporate a price point, but I have yet to come up with a price or how I would structure the options for purchasing the service. That will be done soon. I did use the feedback to add a little about the safety features that I would have, i.e. the webcam and a website to log onto and check on the child's location. Other than that, my pitch is pretty much the same. I am open to any feedback that anyone is willing to give.

  1. Hi Carolyn,

First off, I really appreciate the quality of your video and the professional background! Bravo! It was a great idea to further explain your service's safety measures in the pitch, since that could be a huge selling point for customers. I think this would be a great idea for you to actually pursue following this class. Keep up the good work!

  2. Carolyn, you have a very interesting idea. The services you are wanting to provide will be helpful to all parents out there who have have kids who are involved in sports after school. This is a big struggle for most parents and i think your idea is the perfect solution.

  3. Carolyn,
I think your idea is great and I think that it can really help both parents and children. Your speech was very clear and easy to understand. Your delivery was spot on. I really like that you mention that there are webcams in the cars that the parents can check because I think the number one concern with this idea would be safety.

  4. Hi Carolyn,
I love the idea. It is very innovative and although it is a spin off Uber it has very novel. Your pitch was a tad bit longer than a minute but I believe that is because of the preciseness. The idea is useful although I can see a discrepancy in market size. As a father I would have a problem with it unless my father or daughter was an age where I can be less concerned for example 15 and older.

  6. Hello Carolyn!
I really like your idea. I like how you delivered the speech as well. You stood up, used the right body language and tone and showed enthusiasm for your idea. The only thing I would recommend would be to rehearse your speech more so it doesn't seem like you are reading it off of something.
Good luck on your future endeavors.

  7. Hi Carolyn,

I'm not in your group but I just voted for your pitch. I absolutely love this idea. I've been talking with my friend who is the founder of a kids after-school program about implementing a service of this type. Please save us the leg work and get this business up and running. You might even be able to team up with Uber to use their name, which would grant you instant notoriety.

Here's my pitch. I'm sure you can see how much a service like yours will be needed in a program like mine. http://cogentshift.blogspot.com/2016/07/elevator-pitch-no-3.html

    Good luck with your venture!
